Best Apps For Photographers

As photographers, we tend to use our phones and all sorts of social media such as Instagram, Twitter, and many more, these platforms are great ways for us to get exposure and share our newest creations! I personally tend to come upon a few problems when working or posting on various social media so to help a fellow photographer out I have made a list of the 8 best apps for photographers that I have personally used!

  1. NOMO CAM

Nomo Cam has definitely gained an audience of film photography lovers and rightly so! This app does include in-app purchases but is completely free to download with a few camera “filters” available, after using it personally I would consider myself a fan, the free cameras available are extremely film-like and give great textures to your photographs.

2. Whitagram

This app is perfect for any Instagram user since it can really enhance the fulness of a photograph, many times When we photographers edit & crop our images we tend to go beyond Instagram size limits so by using this app we can place a white or colored border so we can appreciate the full photograph rather than cropping it. Another aspect I love about this app is that it never downgrades your image resolution!

3. SwipeMix

Another one for the Instagrammers is this app which is great for creating the infamous carousels that have gone viral on Instagram recently, they’re a great way to share various images from a photo session in a collage form!

4. Prequel

If you haven’t already heard of Prequel, where have you been?! This app definitely gained a fast uprising for its unique filters and effects, but personally, I have loved it for its editing tools which it isn’t that known for. As a photographer sometimes I love to edit on the go and this free app definitely has a place in my heart.

5. Lightroom

If you already have a Lightroom subscription then getting the mobile app should definitely be a must, Not only does it sync up your presets but it’s super easy to use and always has the best quality for your photography.

This app is really cool for photo editing as well, it has various filters and a good editing system for personal editing! It’s also really easy to use and share self-made filters so you can share with your friends using QR Codes.

7. Feed Preview

And here is yet another helpful app for Instagram users, this app really comes in handy when you have a lot of content and would like to see how it would look once posted without even having to post anything!
