There are no specific rules to the Old Money Aesthetic but I have found various clothing items that can be identified in various outfits which can help you replicate them, so without further ado here are the Old Money Fashion Essentials.

Tops are such an essential part of creating an Old Money outfit but the secret is to keep it simple, The composition of these outfits usually includes simple loose blouses, button-ups, and turtlenecks. In regards to colors the Old Money tops include white, black, light blue & other neutrals.


2. Bottoms

The great part of the Old Money Aesthetic is that skirts as well as pants are used equally frequently and don’t have a lot of “options” which is why you can see the cohesiveness of each outfit, it’s all about mismatching with the few tops you already have with your pants. When choosing bags for the old-money look it’s important to take into account that leather & woven bags are the best go-to’s for these outfits, and the best colors are white, black, brown, and tan.


8. Accessories

Accessories can make or break an outfit so understanding what elements can add an interesting twist to your outfit can really help, For the old-money style the most used accessories are scarves, sunglasses, hats & gloves ranging in the same color palette from past clothing items.
